Was contemplating buying Final Cut Express when I realised it's 2 1/2 years old.

Also...Aperture 3?....rock my socks Apple or I'm going back to Lightroom full time.

Any other software out there that makes you wonder if Apple forgot it exists?

Was going to mention Apple Remote Desktop which has been stuck in V3 since 2006 but I can't imagine a v4 of it being anything other than incremental upgrade (i.e. v3 is pretty good as it)

There have been some rumours that Aperture X will be released soon, if that helps ;P

When there's good competition, Apple usually innovate. Given how good Lightroom is (probably Adobe's finest product), I'd say Apple aren't going to let Aperture slide.

Inkwell... :) Or should I just come out and say Newton OS...

Mail! Although, I'm still using v2.01 circa OS 10.4... unless it had a major upgrade in Leopard... it could use an update...

v4.2 is pretty nice (Snow Leopard) - exchange, better IMAP, etc. The only problem I have with it are because of the IMAP's protocol limitations, not the actual mail program.
