iCAL automatic time setting

Hi All

Whenever I go to add a new event into iCal, it automatically sets the time to 11-12pm.

Is there a way to set the time automatically to say something like 9-10am?

Does Apple actually think people need to start meetings at 11pm, or is this just some dumb setting that I have organised in the past and don't know about.

I thought iCal automatically selected the time that you were entering it in?
So even if I added an iCal appointment right now for next week... as it is currently 11:14pm it would go for that time...
whereas if I created a new iCal appointment in the morning for next week - it would default it to the time I was creating it tomorrow?

If you double-click on a day while in month view, iCal will default the appointment to the next whole hour immediately following the current time. If its 10:18PM currently, a new appointment will be 11:00PM - 12:00AM.

If I drill down to either week or day mode, the appointment is created wherever you double-click.

Thanks Guys, that now makes sense . Was always double clicking in month view, and entering details at about 10'ish pm.
