Hi everyone
Well recently I was helping a friend who had to reformat his hdd (one of those Windows 98 people) and so I copied his hdd contents to my PB, and burnt to DVD, but now want to delete the folder where all his stuff is... So I put it in the Trash but when I 'empty' the trash it tells me all these files are locked. I've been to the root folder of where I copied all of his hdd stuff and brought up the get info box and made sure that lock is unchecked, but because there's so many files coming up as locked I figure there must be a quicker way.

Can anyone help me out here?

Thanks - Glen.

I think you hold down either command or option before clicking empty trash then it ignores any locked files

Don't we all ;)

You can also click on "Finder" next to the apple menu and go "Secure Empty Trash" ;)
