so i can set parental controls up on the AppleTV just fine. piece of cake.

why can't i do the same with iTunes?? i have tried the Parental Control panel under the iTunes Preferences, restricted content to PG only, but i can still then play content higher than that.

Running iTunes 9.0.1 on Leopard 10.5.8

In iTunes, click on top-left menu: iTunes - and scroll down to: Preferences.

In iTunes Preferences, click once on the top yellow Parental button.
Beneath that, you can disable whatever content you want, plus choose content restrictions.

I would then shut down and restart.

hmmm, no. no go on that one, too.

in Prefs>Parental i have the Ratings For as United States (as all my flicks use the US ratings) and have Content Restrictions checked for Movies To PG.
