Copying from MS Powerpoint 2008 to MS Word 2008

Hi,

I'm trying to copy a single powerpoint slide that consists of simple black and white lines and text into word.

If I do this through cutting and pasting as a picture it comes out recognisable but very blurred.

If I try to send it as a microsoft powerpoint slide object I get a low memory warning telling me to save my work, and it wont do it.

Anyone know the best way to export, or copy and paste, from powerpoint to word so that it comes out as a crisp clear text?

You're just trying to copy/paste text?

How about just selecting it and pasting it as plain text? :)

If you need to, put it through a text editor so that it is guaranteed to be plain text.

Or are you trying to paste an image of the slide into a Word doc?

If so - I would try taking a screen shot, then cropping any excess bits, saving as a JPG, then inserting it as an image into the Word doc. (Sorry, not very elegant!!)

Yeah sometimes an inelegant low-tech solution is the only way to fix a hi-tech problem.
Whatever works -works and the other ways don't - its as simple as that in my book.
