unable to hyperlink photo in iWeb

Hi everyone,

I am a brand new Mac user, literally only been using my Macbook Pro for 3 days so I'm still finding my way around it.

I have begun work on a website using iWeb consisting of photo albums and photos etc... Some of the photos I would like to make a hyperlink to an external url. I've looked at the help file which says to select the object, click on inspector, select hyperlinks and then check the box "enable as a hyperlink" however this option is greyed out and can't be used??

Is it not possible to hyperlink a photo in a photo album, does anyone know?

Nope - you cannot hyperlink a photo in that way. Of course the other method would be to provide text and hyperlink the photograph that way.

The links in iWeb for photographs have a function built into them so that they are consistent.

Question is - why do you want to go to an external url?

Ok, thanks for that. Looks like I'll have to go with text links underneath the photos then.
