Can't delete the bootcamp HDD

HI all - I have a Bootcamp icon on my screen that looks like a HDD, I need to trash it, I have used disk utilities but when I click delete it disappears and then comes back 2 seconds later, I no longer require the Bootcamp partition, Thanks in advance for all relies
