Hi all. I am running Tiger (10.4) and it prompted me for a security and iTunes update yesterday. Did both of them and rebooted. Now, Vuze and Cyberduck, which are both Java apps refuse to open.

Has anyone had anything similar happen, or know how I can fix it?

Thanks.

Hey Norbs did you find a solution to this problem? A friend updated her iBook last night and she had the same problem. iTunes, iPhoto, Safari etc won't open after the Java release 9 update. Anyone know how to solve this.

EDIT: My friend is also running Tiger 10.4.11 on her iBook.

EDIT
Nevermind. OP is running Tiger.

I never did. I can run iTunes,Safari etc, but any Java App (eg. Vuze, Cyberduck) refuse to run. I have just bought Snow Leopard to see if that sorts it out. I have a Silicon Image Expresscard eSata card that causes kernel panics left, right and centre and people are saying it is worse in 10.6. :(

Not sure what to so.
