From that article the 15.4" isn't due until 2006.
Be interesting to see what the updated iBook specifications are - they'd still want to give the Powerbook a decent margin.

Maybe along side the new iBook's new iPod Shuffles will come out as well???
or maybe even newer and faster Powerbook's? but only Apple knows i guess we will just have to find out next week!

Maybe 1.42 GHz, 80GB HHD, 512MB RAM, ATI 9600 64MB RAM (PwrBk has 9700 & up to 128M)
That allows the Mac Mini to go to 1.5GHz & the low end PwrBks to go to 1.67GHz so they still keep their margins.

I don't believe they'll get wide screens - yeah probably upgrades, but not widescreens.... They need a gimmic for people to go for the powerbook ;)

Ahh well amni, the news is out (http://forums.appletalk.com.au/index.php?showtopic=10328&view=findpost&p=85091), and they're still only 14"-ers..

With the excitement over we now sit back and wait for the next rumour.. place your bets it'll have something to do with the PowerBooks ;)

The iBook was never going to get a form factor change until Intel processors.

For the same reason, we can expect SFA from the PowerBooks until the Intel processors. If there is an update between now and the Intel's, then it will be very minor.

......I am looking forward to my new Carbon Fibre PowerBook Centrino (but not until April '06).

I didn't think the iBook's would go to widescreen.

It'd be great if they did, but then they would be even closer to the Powerbooks.

Do the new 9550's allow screen spanning, or a better question, will it be able to power a 20" cinema display?
