Howdy,

As the title suggests i'm looking at a way to convert an existing vmware fusion virtual machine into a bootcamp partition.

Any easy ways to go about this?

I don't think this can be done. Best option would be to use an app like Acronis TrueImage to backup your profile and apps from the VM, go through the fresh install process on boot camp, and than use TrueImage (or an alternative) to restore the backup onto boot camp.

It is possible.

Create the bootcamp partition, configure VMWare to have a second disk thats your old vmware virtual disk, boot up the vm with some sort of disk cloning tool and clone the virutal parition to the real one.

Not such a simple job though, and this is only I would do it in theory If i needed to
