So how long before Apple decide to use the iTunes store for wider sales. For example I'm hunting around for dashboard widgets at the moment, would be great if there was a central point for these things.

How good would it be to buy iWork or iLife or...well anything directly through the iTunes and have it downloaded. Am I dreaming?

To get you started in the mean time, check out Bodega (http://appbodega.com/), a Mac app store, which has been closely monitored by Apple.

Thanks for that. What I'm actually after in this case is a widget for data usage for ISP's.

I have the one for Optus, but I also have a Three Mobile account I use so would like another widget that will monitor that.

Essentially if iiQuota for iPhone was ported to a widget I'd be right, would even pay a few $$ for it which is why I was thinking an iTunes thing would work well :)
