Does anyone know how to access the new ringtone feature in the new itunes?

Open Preferences, then in the General tab, check Ringtones.

rename from m4a to m4r
enjoy your free ringtone.

I see. Not sure. Sounds like the original ringtone feature, which had a list view column with a bell in it to indicate that a track was allowed to be used as a ringtone. You would then trim that song and save it as a ringtone.

or create one yourself in garageband. yes we know the options but i think it's relevant that people want to know how to access this feature in the itunes store considering the announcement today.

Ahh I see, you have to use the iTunes Store on your iPhone to actually access the Ringtones. Open iTunes, click on More and then Ringtones.
