Does anyone know what this is? Mac OS X Server Evaluation (http://seminars.apple.com/contactme/SnowLeopardServerEvaluation/)

Just reading in the annoying hot news rss that comes up in Mail - does US Companies get a free copy of SL Server?

It's a free evaluation copy. To test it out. If you're interested. So you can buy it later on.

Oh yeah, but it doesn't mention any expiry times and says it's fully functional - also it is valid for corporate use. So how does it differ from a full copy? It's a shame we can't get it in AU.

"By submitting your request you are providing your permission to be contacted by either Apple or an Apple representative for the purpose of verifying your evaluation needs. In addition, by submitting your request, you represent that the Mac OS X Server evaluation software will not be used in a production capacity and will not be made available for resale. Your use of the Mac OS X Server evaluation software is subject to the applicable license terms"

= They're after business leads. My guess is that if they figure out you're just trying to avoid the price of a copy of SL Server, they prob won't give it to you for free.
