Hey guys,

I installed Adobe CS4 Master Edition last night- did a custom install and chose only to install Photoshop and all the shared components (100% positive i didn't select anything else). However, i then went into my Applications folder to find a whole bunch of other stuff.

- After Effects
- Encore
- Media Encoder
- Soundbooth

Although, the folders to these programs in the Applications folder do not have their respective little folder/application icon, instead it is just a normal folder icon & when i try to execute the programs it tells me that it is not supported by this architecture

Is there a particular reason why the install does this? Is it because the shared components which i installed (all of them) are used by those programs as well. (particular shared components noted that it was recommended by a few other Adobe applications as well)

Are you using a PPC Mac? Some of those apps only work on Intel Macs.

It is because of those apps sharing some components.
Personally I think it sucks, but what are you gonna do…

Decryption: Using the brand new unibody MBP.

Gfrxninja: Can i delete those apps? or do i need it for the proper operation of the shared components?

Can i not open the applications because the entire application wasn't installed????
