It's something to do with your ISP. Who do you use? What trouble shooting have you done?

What Apple site have you tried?

Just cleared the Cache, still no go.

I'm with Optus by the way.

Again... what diagnostics have you done?

Have you rebooted your modem? Your computer? Your router?

Try going to 17.149.160.10 instead of Apple (http://www.apple.com)

While I haven't experienced this problem, others have. For example, see link below:

http://forums.mactalk.com.au/14/66543-apple-com-au-apple-com-will-not-display.html

There was also another recent post on this problem.

I think it must be a DNS issue. Contact your ISP and ask them to check your DNS Server Address, and ask if you can try an alternative address. If they won't let you do this, try Open DNS.

It seems really strange that the problem only seems to impact the Apple site, and only seems to impact Macs.

OK Using the IP address works, so must be a DNS problem.

I'll try powering down the modem and see what happens.

Try a DNS flush in terminal.

dscacheutil -flushcache

If the problem persists, just switch to OpenDNS (http://opendns.org).

Tried DNS flush, changed to Open DNS .
Still does not work.

Using the IP address does work however.

Just tried Firefox no problems at all, so its a Safari issue.

Using Safari Beta 4, I'll update to the latest version and see what happens.

I've had this problem for AGES. The only page i can get onto is the livepage.apple.com/ or the Australian Store (go figure).

However the IP Address page works fine.

!?!?!?
