i just found a hair clip on the ground... where the hell did that come from?

anyway, i put it down on my MBP, and i found that when i tried to brush it away, it didn't move.

its in the spot in the top middle section of both speakers...

anyone got an explanation?

I take it that its a unibody.

The magnets keep it closed, and are also how your MBP electrically detects that the lid is closed

Or . . . every dynamic speaker has a magnet to drive the coil (which moves the cone, which makes the sound).
