On quite a few forums and sites around, whenever there's talk about must have apps for your mac, someone invariably mentions Quicksilver (http://quicksilver.blacktree.com/). So being the inquisitve kind i thought i'd try it out, but was rather underwhelmed since i couldn't see the any immediate benefits.

That was a couple of weeks ago, so when i stumbled on this little 'how to' (http://vjarmy.com/archives/2004/03/quicksilver_a_b.php) for Quicksilver, i thought if i don't see it in 10 minutes then at least i tried......

I'm glad i spent the 10 minutes :)

see for yourself, but stuff like this should be built into the core OSX.

now to play a bit more!!

found some more 'how to' stuff....

I too decided to try Quicksilver after hearing so many people go on about it. Been using it for about 6mth or so and I love it. Would definitely advise anyone to give it a go.

I have just noticed that Quicksilver works in the background while Dashboard is active & makes a great iTunes control.

eg,Type in "pa" for "pause" enter, "pl" "play" enter & etc.
