Does anyone know of any apps for Mac OS X that can reguarly check my Google Mail account, and pop up with some sort of notification that tells me when I have mail?
Something similar to Gtray on Windows.

Thanks for that yingyang. It works well, but when I click on the option to open my inbox in a browser, it doesn't load up the site properly, it just has a little red loading box in the corner.

However, it does what I mainly wanted, and check every 5 minutes to let me know when I have mail. It would be nice to click on it, and have the Google Mail inbox open up in a new browser window :)

Hm...not sure if that's the program in questions fault. I have a button on safari's bookmarks bar to go to gmail and about 50% of the time it does that too.

Thanks for the heads up on the program, i'll try it out later.

You'll need konfabulator - but this (http://www.widgetgallery.com/view.php?widget=36068) might be what you're looking for...

gCount version 0.3 out now. (http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/15238)

Login info is now stored in keychain.

Well worth the upgrade.

Konfabulator is good I don't really care for the gCount widget, I'm sticking with the menu extra, but for weather and the like it's pretty good.
