is there an application anyone knows of to control the volumes of individual opened apps rather then just a master volume, i know your going to cringe but its a vista feature i found quite useful :) but its a really good feature and i would love to run it on leopard, incase you dont understand what i mean i want an app which will let me do things like mute or control firefox's volume while having iTunes volume at full and being able to adjust the volume of a game all at the same time, just an example of what i want to be able to do with the software, so anyone who knows of an app like this PLEASE let me know :)

Thanks,
Aydin

If you're on a PPC Mac (10.3 or 10.4) then this is what you want:

Rogue Amoeba | Detour (http://www.rogueamoeba.com/detour/)

Otherwise I think you're out of luck.

It is incredibly handy eh. Especially when apps don't have a built-in volume preference. Hopefully we'll see a 3rd party developer step up soon enough

I would love an app like this
I hate when quicktime opens and the volume resets to 100% all the time:mad:
