MBP 13 with 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD/or MBP 15 base?

Base model for both 13 and 15.

Price wise they are about the same I think maybe the 13" with 4GB and 128GB SSD slightly cheaper.

Any pointers?

15" got a better screen yes and a better resolution.
13" got the MBA's screen i heard?

If I were you (And if your budget can stretch) get the 2.66ghz model. I regret getting the base model because I intend keeping it for a few years, and by 2011 it'll be S-L-O-W. I hope I can afford to buy a new Macbook Pro in 2011! :P

dont get the base 15", get the 2.66ghz.
if you want a longer term investment 2.66 is the go. and in 2 years or less a 512gb SSD will be under $300.

well thats my plan and my 2cents

Considering you can get the 2.66 for $2599 I would go that way. It has both the GPU's and a slightly larger HDD (as well as the increased CPU)

Edit: Actually $2559.70

Where did you get those prices from? the 15 inch 2.66 is AU$3199

Err well I don't want to get in trouble but it is the Developer's Price.

If I give a link will it get deleted? Also MacTalk doesn't really get any kick back as well.

NB I should add I do not know what Apple do to check the validity as to whether you are a developer etc.

Oh I see, would be nice, just ordered my 15 inch 2.66 yesterday. Oh well.

Don't worry about it, I don't want anyone getting in trouble. :D
