Just found on kevinrose's twitter (http://twitter.com/kevinrose) that Chrome for OSX is now available, though it does look to be a Developer Preview version!

Thread already for this can be found here (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/11/64334-chrome-beta-available-when-now.html)

I should add that I'm already bored with 12 updates per day every single freaking day almost!

Just got it from his twitter as well ;)

First Impressions:
Its bloody fast! Faster than safari in my very un-scientific tests :p

Chromium ≠ Chrome.

As above this is an actual Google build of Chrome rather than built from the source into Chromium

Didn't work for me "not supported in this architecture" any ideas?

Using PPC or Intel, installed fine on my Mac Pro.

Only tested on PPC so far.... any word that it's intel only?

EDIT: Looked it up, Intel support only - Poor little eMac misses out :(

Oooh 'tis very fast :)

So no bookmark imports yet, minimal additional settings & UI is still lacking in some areas (ie the diagonal "drag-me to expand" button on the bottom left corner isn't there) but overall - Nice!

Regards,
Shane.

It is fast but if there isn't support for RSS the way it is supported in Safari then I don't see myself changing anytime soon.

The UI is pretty buggy & it didn't seem much (if at all) faster than Safari 4 to me. I'll give it another look when it's officially released but for now I'm definitely going to stick with Safari.

Speedy but some odd UI bugs. I'll come back to it in a couple of weeks.

Yeah, flash isn't working for me either. I'm guessing they haven't added it in yet.
