View Full Version : WebKit Nightly Build

After listening to a recent MacTalk podcast and hearing I think Chris 2 talk about downloading WebKit Nightly Build, I decided to try it myself.

Previously I was too scared to, thinking I might break something, but having now done it I can tell you it's great. You actually get a standalone app so-to-speak, which has an icon similar to Safari, but with gold trim. Sexy!!

So you run it separately, but it launches like a shell of Safari. It has auto-update features, so it keeps itself up-to-date. It's fast and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go.

I've been using it now for a couple of days and have to say it's great and noticeably faster than Safari. It launches a version of the Safari 4 beta which is noticeably faster than v3.x of Safari, so well worth downloading.
