The distributor of the Pinnacle TV tuners has got a fair bit left over of some older models and has approached me if we'd like to help clear out some of their stock.

They've offered the Pinnacle DVB-T USB Tuner 70E which I can make available for only $75 + $10 for express postage.

It includes in the box:

USB 2.0 TV tuner stick for DVB-T
Mini remote control including batteries
Mini antenna
USB extender cable
CD-ROM with Elgato EyeTV Lite software, drivers and documentation
Quick Start Guide

There's no minimum purchase for us to get this price, but if we can get 50+ or 100+, the price may lower a little. So if you're interested, post here and if there's a decent amount (25 or so people at least), we'll go ahead.

Is this this - Pinnacle TV for Mac USB Tuner review - Mac - Apple (http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies-archive.cfm/788948.html) ?
I couldn't find any other reviews or specs for it on the internet; if it does analogue, I might be interested.

Yeah, there's not much info about it on the net, there is this old Google cache'd site from the distributor (http://74.125.155.132/search?q=cache:VzIPUTQ9Ck0J:www.lakopacific.com/page/Products/Pinnacle_Systems_Avid/Pinnacle_TV_Tuners/Pinnacle_TV_for_Macintosh_DVB-T_Stick_Elgato_70E/+pinnacle+70e&cd=7&hl=en&ct=clnk&client=safari) (it's an EOL model, hence why they're offering it cheap for MacTalk). But really, it's a DTV tuner, very basic and comes with EyeTV Lite.

It does not do analog TV, just digital (why do you want analog btw?)

I believe that review (like my review (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/18/28962-pinnacle-tv-mac-hybrid-stick-review.html) from years ago) refers to the Hybrid version, whereas the one Anthony is referring to is the regular HDTV version ($99 RRP).

I have had one of these for a while. Haven't used it a heap (don't have a HTPC setup, just occasionally attached to my MacBook to record something), but it has worked fine for me. No dramas I can recall.

Only downside would by EyeTV Lite, which is not as pleasing as the full version.

I'm guessing this will also include an IceTV trial subscription with the EyeTV Lite?

I don't know for sure if it's included, but IceTV have a free 30 day trial you can get off their website: Free Trial (http://www.icetv.com.au/cgi-bin/webfreetrial.cgi)
