I got a new MacBook today and I am unsure how to get my iPhone to sync correctly. I have manually moved over my Calendar, Address Book, Music, Movies, Apps etc. I don't know how to move the iPhone back up files that stores application data (eg saved games.) I do not want to make a carbon copy of my old mac. How can i move my iPhone to my new mac without losing data?

Plug your iPhone into your new MacBook (iTunes) and Restore your iPhone, it will do a backup first then it will do the restore and after that it will ask you to setup as new iPhone or restore form the back it has just done.....

In case you want to know, your iPhone backups are located in your Mac (~Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup) or on a PC (c:\Documents and Settings\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup)
