I recently acquired a Quicksilver 800 Mghtz with 756 ram, (I run 10.3.9), with two pci cards : A graphics card called an AGP ATI 32 MEG VRAM and another card that the system profiler doesn't recognize but the Apple Systems Diagnostics CD refers to as a Mark of the Unicorn card and its this card I would like to know more about; What is it ? Why doesn't the system recognize it ? What is the card for ?

Hi joelight,

It's a professional sound card - Google for Mark of the Uniforn and MOTU, found a link for it here. (http://www.prorec.com/prorec/articles.nsf/0/3f1cd53cd012dd7d86256808007ca6d8?OpenDocument)

It's guess it's a MOTU PCI-324 Host Card, as pictured?

What does the back of the card look like?

Here's what system profiler (OS X 10.4.1) had to say about my PCI-424 card.

pci137a,3:

Type: Audio
Bus: PCI
Slot: SLOT-3
Vendor ID: 0x137a
Device ID: 0x0003
Revision ID: 0x00ff

Not very interesting.

If you have any questions or want to sell it then let me know.
