hi to all..i have a
macBook 2,1
2.16ghz intel core duo
2gb 667mhz DDR2 SDRAM
i am considering an Apple display monitor, can anyone tell me which display is compatible with my laptop? [or any other suggestions.]
i will be mainly doing CAD plans and photos with photoshop.

I believe that your macbook has a miniDVI port on the side... so pretty much you can grab either the miniDVI-DVI or the miniDVI-VGA adaptors ($25 each from Apple) and you can use any display out there that has either a DVI or VGA input.

If you are set on an Apple branded display, this rules out the newest LED displays, but the older style cinema displays (Apple currently only sell the 30" but you can probably still find the 20" and 23" models around). Other than that, if you want something a bit cheaper... Dell make some affordable but very nice 24" displays... just make sure you look for the 'ultrasharp' model.
