Hi guys!
I have a very basic question for you all, but I have had no luck in finding any information!
My mum has a Blackbook 2.2GHz, Late 2007 Macbook. I have a buyer who would like to know how much ram & what kind of ram this Macbook can take.
If you could please help me, that would be fantastic! :-)

Carl :-)

I was gonna say 4GB because my white model from the same generation supports 4GB, but carl beat me to it with that link.

Sorry that looked rude I mean it's not hard to change the ram.

The standard is 4.0GB, yet it can be maxed out to 6.0GB.

It has two slots - both take PC2-5300 (667MHz) 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM.

DIMM0 can have a 4GB PC2-5300 SO-DIMM, and DIMM1 can have a 2GB PC2-5300 SO-DIMM.

Might just make the buyer a little more enthusiastic...

Nice info Clockwork.
I just updated my MacTracker database to the latest and it confirms what you are saying here. 6.0GB Max for the Late 07 and early 08 MacBooks.

Unfortunately, at $350-400 for a single stick at the moment, I'll be closing down a few apps and sticking with my 2x2GB for a while !

True, yet if you were selling it, it might be in your favour telling this to a potential Buyer. =)

I have the same model Macbook. I stuck 4GB in it and it runs like an absolute dream.
