Just setup a new 2009 mac mini with an external 1.5TB HDD in a ministack v3 via fw800.

Have already successfully moved my movies and iTunes library.

I need to move my iPhoto 09 library from my existing mac to the mini as well.

How do I do this and ensure I keep all my name tags (these took forever to setup).

Ta.

Are all your photos kept within the iphoto library? If so, just copy this to your new mac and it should be right.

Done - thanks fot that - thought it would be a bit more complicated like moving iTunes library.

Question - iPhoto library is now on the Mac Mini External HDD.
If I share the Mini iPhoto library, and then on my Mac Pro (using the iPhoto app) connect to the Mini iPhoto library, when I import digital images from my camera on the Pro, will that write across to the Mini iphoto library?
