Probably a dumb question, but are there any cases out there that you folks may have come across which will fit on a 3G dock? Even if I can remove like the bottom part of the case perhaps?

I bought a Rebel capsule case, comes with dock adapter for any dock that will accept the iphone. Not the standard Apple one sadly I don't think!

the griffin clarifi case has a macro lens and a slide off bottom. Their elan form range has that feature too.

If you want cheap cheap this case works well and costs very little (I have one and so do 2 friends)

One case option that I eventually settled on was to use a fitted leather pouch style case (Sena) whilst out, then when at home (and away from the most damage) the phone stays out of the case so I can use it freely and it doesn't impede any docks etc.

With this case it also maintains it's slim feel.

Thanks for the suggestions folks, I should also mention to the others. THIS, is a 3G Dock:
