Hanging on Waiting For Printing Srvice

Hi All,
My first night of using a mac has come to a screeching halt!!
I ran a software update, the powerbook hung on a Bluetooth firmware update for like an hour.
So I rebooted, now all it does is hang on "Waiting For Priting Services" on the start screen!
Also not sure if it is related, but I also instaleld Firefox, and it just keep jumping up and dwon in the taskbar and wouldn't shut down ( these Macs are crazy!! )
I tried a safe boot, but same thing.


Do I need to do a reinstall??

I'm starting to see a few clouds on my choice of a Mac laptop, but hopefully the skys will clear!

Didn't even have it for 24 hours !
mmm, Macs stable ? Pull the other one!!

Uncanny bad luck. I'd be worried if it happened again, as it would show that there was something more serious at fault. But if everything runs well from now on, I'd just take it as a one-off problem.
