View Full Version : MMS counts as part of cap with Optus plans

Hey everyone,

Since 3.0, everyone has been wondering about MMS, and how the carriers will factor it into their plan costs.

I have a jailbroken device, and recently installed SwirlyMMS, just to test it out. I sent one MMS to see if it worked. It did, and ironically, the application has sat on my phone without being used again (like I need MMS, hah).

Today, my Optus bill arrived, and I was surprised to see that it had been factored into my cap cost:

Looks like they won't need to change anything to support MMS after all. Hurrah!

Are you on the original Optus iPhone plan or the later one with unlimited SMS?
