Using a G4 1.25 (silver doors) with a 64Radeon 9000. Currently running a 15in monitor off a PCI ATI Rage pro (4 meg). My 17in Monitor died last week which was running off the ATI9000.
Main uses, PS, Ill, Pagemaker, Filemaker.
Any experiences with analog monitors (Yes I know Sony monitors are great BUT I am trying to keep costs under $350 or else my husband will kill me!).
I'd like a sharp image, with good dot pitch. My brother is loaning me his Cornerstone 21inch at the moment- weighs about 40kg! The image isn't too bad. He paid $300 3 yrs ago for it.
So, fair quality monitors are still to be found I am sure.
Any help on this one?

Many thanks.

www.gamedude.com.au always has fairly good prices, but they're in brisbane. Where abouts are you?

Maybe another forum goer has a monitor they can sell?

If you're in Melbourne or Sydney, MSY have *the* best prices on *any* hardware.
Shocking website, but fantastic prices:

The 19" Phillips 109B is $370 and is of good quality according to two friends of mine who have bought them.

I would reccommend samsung monitors, I have had a few of them and haven't had any problems at all.

Their CRT's are the best value for money on the market IMHO. check out the 753 (17") and 955 (19") series
