hello all,
I have just grabber some albums off of a mates computer (windows) and have gone to load them onto my power book and some would not add to the library. I noticed that these file were WMA files. Can I convert these files to an acceptable format for my laptop?

iTunes can convert WMA files into AAC, so long as they are not DRM'd.

Had the same problem today.
I used an app called Switch to convert them into mp3 then added them into iTunes

I've downloaded switch but it still won't convert saying I need to download another program "Flip4mac" if I need to convert wma files, but I believe that that costs, is this what needs doing?

there are several versions of flip4mac, the player is free, the other versions include more sophisticated tools you will not need. All the flip4mac playerdoes is allow quicktime to read wma and wmv files.
