G'day all,

I'm considering upgrading from a 1GHz to 1.67GHz powerbook, but I'm a constant user of sidetrack. Since scrolling is already covered :), and sidetrack is not supported on the new powerbooks (yet), does anyone know of a util that can let me assign a trackpad tap to right-click?

cheers

If you are saying "left-click" to open program or something like that, just go to
=> "System Preference",
=> "Keyboard & Mouse",
=> "Trackpad"

But if you are saying "right-click", why not just press and hols "ctrl".

There are some apps that enable tapping clicking to open programs and folders. Sidetrack is one that has tap clicking.

Try versiontracker.com or macupdate.com

simonpeng: that's the point - I don't want to have to press control
the_OM: I use sidetrack, but it's not compatible with the new powerbooks...

is iscroll 2 compatible? if it is you just need 2 fingers on the trackpad then click so it becomes a right click, although i havnt tried it because im "afraid" so i wont :)

i have a iBook using iScroll2 and a 1.67 15" superdrive with default :D
