I just got myself a new AppleTv and I'm very happy, but now comes the task of encoding a lot of my videos so they can be added to iTunes.

I'm using handbrake, but I'm not sure if I should encode the videos for 'AppleTv' or for iPhone/iPod.

If I encode just for AppleTv, I wont be able to sync the videos to my iPhone or iPod, but they would be better quality.

Or do I encode them for ipod/iPhone and put up with the lower quality?

What do you guys do?

I would be great if iPods and iPhones would play AppleTv files

Possible factual errors, delete, don't mind me

I rip using the "iPod Hi Res" setting in handbrake. Looks fine on my TV and works on my iPod & iPhone.
