I'm looking for a new inkjet printer that's compatible with Airport Express. Any recommendations for a good compatible printer? Have been looking out the HP 2610 all in one Printer/Fax/Scanner/Copier ($399) but neither apple nor the dealer know for sure whether it will work with Airport.

Ideally, both a mac and a pc on the wireless network should be able to print to the new printer.

On a similiar note, need to find Airport Express compatible speakers, and would love to hear any recommendations there as well.

just about anything will work with an airport express

Get what you want and there is a 99% chance it will work fine

I have a nice cheap HP PSC 1315 (street price <$150) running on one. No problems. Also have an Epson 2100 again no probs.

Early days of APXpress saw some real problems with some printers. An Epson engineer told me they had trouble getting good info from Apple and as such couldnt ever be 100% sure about compatability. His words then were that HP tended to be more compatible.

I had a hell of a time with an elderly Epson 740 but the latest firmware fixed it.

My Epson R210 works great with it

Mulitfunction centers never work well with print servers inc the APX :(

According to this site, it will print only.

So it only prints the R210?

Is there any MF printer that scans as well via AExp?
