Hi All,

I have my trysty Classic with all my music, etc on it that i have sync'd with my MBP.

When I get to work and want to listen to my music on my G5, I have to turn off sync then use it fine, but then have to turn sync back on when I plug it in at home.

is it possible to have it sync with my MBP at home and then automagically et itself to manage manually at work?

I know I could just listen to it not through tne mac, but I have different headphones at work (different environments), and just want to know if it's possible.

both macs are running leopard.

Cheers in advance.

Why do you have to turn sync on and off? Can't you just leave "Automatically sync" unchecked and just hit the sync button whenever you hook it up to your computer at home?

Because when I plug it in to my work Mac, I can't access the songs unless I turn 'Manually manage music'.

What i'm after is some way of circumventing this....
