can anyone tell me if i purchased iPhone applecare from the us store would they warrant it here as it has international coverage and apple don't sell it here

AppleCare is usually any international warranty, so I'd say yes.

I doubt it very much, for the exact reason that the product is not sold in Australia, and is not intended for an Australian iPhone.

I very much believe you'd be throwing your money away.

Call Apple if you want that confirmed.

I believe applecare is international, but if there were an exception to that rule it would be the iPhone.

Yes, I can tell you all about it.

USA iPhone Applecare can not be used on:-

A USA 1st generation iPhone that has not been activated with a two year AT&T contract.

An Australian 2nd generation iPhone of any type - activated, unlocked, whatever.

USA iPhone Applecare can only be used with a USA 1st or 2nd generation iPhone that has been activated.
