ATTENTION POSTERS!!! - Notebook Discussion Version

Due to the unprecedented amount of threads popping up I ask you all to take three simple steps before you post. These are designed to help YOU get the best answer as many users get tired of typing out the same answer multiple times, meaning you may not get the best possible answers if you start a thread asking a question that has already been thoroughly answered.

Basically, be nice! More Specifically: If you perceive a thread is veering off-course, please, either email or PM a forum leader or mod or use the "Report a Post" feature. Do not play armchair mod or fourm leader. Before starting a new topic, manually check the first few pages of the forum to see if your topic has been recently covered.
Be nice. Just because you are online is no reason for manners to go out the window!
Before Posting. First place to look is the pinned threads. These are usually the most commonly asked questions or popular topics.
Search! (http://forums.appletalk.com.au/index.php?act=Search&f=)
Post. If your question has not adequately been answered in any other thread, by all means go ahead and start a thread (making sure your in the right section).
Important Threads to Check. If your question relates to iBook Vs Powerbooks Vs PC Laptops An Apple Powerbook 12 Inch Or A Hp Tablet Pc, For Uni Studies (http://forums.appletalk.com.au/index.php?showtopic=7217&hl=)

If none are on your topic. Try searching. For your convenience, a generic search for many ram related threads has been created here (http://forums.appletalk.com.au/index.php?act=Search&CODE=show&searchid=b92ba22c79960eaba251a7b7d9e04fd8&search_in=posts&result_type=topics&highlite=PC100+PC133+PC2100+PC2700+PC3200+DIMM) or you may prefer to specify your own search terms

Again, if you feel your question has not adequately been answered, or that the answer given is out of date or not thorough enough, then by all means start your thread. The purpose of this message is not to stop threads rather to help you get the best possible answer in the shortest possible time.

Also if you think any other threads should be included or are out of date let me know.
