Goddamn, I just received my Three bill, and the same shit that happened last month has happened again. (http://forums.mactalk.com.au/10/60464-165-three-bill-wtf.html#post670116)

MOBILE BROADBAND - $56

I DIDN'T USE ANY FECKING MOBILE BROADBAND

I just rang Three and their 'computers are down'.
These are from the bills.

Does anyone know what the hell these charges are for.

1) I have not accessed any mobile broadband services since my last bill, bar two occassions when I loaded the same text page about 15kb in size when I was on 3G using Opera Mini.

2) I live, study and travel in zones which are all 'Three'.

3) The handset has a flashing world icon in its 'menu bar'. When I rang Three last month, I EXPLICITY (not IMPLICITY) questioned whether this could mean my phone (a THREE HANDSET) is accessing data, and was told by at least two people that this was not the case.

Fuck this. I am so over this. I am ringing them tomorrow and asking them to

a) take off these charges
b) turn off web data
c) unlock my handset
d) cancel my contract

..bastards. I hate their attitude.

Why not just take the SIM out of your phone for a few days and see what happens? (get an el cheapo pre-paid $2 SIM).

Why is your phone downloading data? That is the question.

Get them to bar data services. Vodafone hit me up for $60 before for the same sort of thing. GPRS traffic I wasn't aware of.

You haven't get auto update of date and time on? I mistakenly had this switched on when I went to Japan initially and ended up with a nasty bill as a result.
