View Full Version : No nVidia drivers work in bootcamp!!

I cant find any 8800 GS driver that works in bootcamp, they quit out saying something like 'cannot detect required graphics hardware, setup will now exit'

Please help!! (btw I uninstalled the ones that came on the Mac OS disk cause theyre old)

Maybe they were the most recent at the time of purchase.

If you want it working again, I suggest you follow Currawong's advice. If it ain't broke... ;)

Newer does not always equal better - put back the ones Apple give you with Boot Camp, and then visit Windows Update and check the hardware section. If MS feels you need an update, they will have one. If they don't, then they consider the ones you have to be the best for their OS.

So basically youre saying that my games should continue to work fine, no matter if the driver is slightly old?
