Been eyeing these for a while, i think the time is near.

I have a current number though Exetel mobile (uses the vodafone network) and that has served me a while up until now.

I am looking at buying a 16gb iPhone 2g soon, would these plans suit me? Say if i go with the 39$ a month plan.

The included data is 2gb, that is reasonable is it not?

Does anyone have anything to bring to light here? I don't intend much mobile browsing in all, and my current cap which is lower than this fits for calls + texts.

May I ask why go with TPG as the provider? (it's based on the Optus network)

They are cheaper are they not?

Kai. Shameless bump.

I can either go with TPG, say for $19.99 a month. $300 'value' and 2gb of mobile data.
OR
Optus, which is 19 a month, for $50 'value' and 100mb of data

Correct, or am i reading this all wrong.

So. you've read a million people complain about Optus' allegedly piss poor billing accuracy and the troubles in getting it fixed, and you want that service on-sold through one of the most significant "we're cheap because we have no customer service" ISPs.....

I can always just cancel it and just go with optus. I have nothing to lose right?

Are you sure its 2gb for all the plans?? looks like its only 2gb for the $79.99 plan and they haven't included the amount of downloads for the other plans.

TPG suck balls - I would not give them money. I'm a cheapskate, but I have my limits.
