I had noticed that the forecasts for Sydney for example, where quite a few degrees higher than it was supposed to be.

So entering AU;NS;SYDNEY ensures I look at the more reliable forecasts.

hope this helps,
George.

Anyone got any ideas on what to do for Launceston, Tasmania. I have tried multiple variations of this and nothing seems to work ? Are there any Australian weather forecast widgets out there yet ??

Love Tiger it is Awesome !!

Any help greatly appreciated !!

zagas, the reason you were getting the wrong forecast is because you were getting the weather for the Sydney in America, not the sydney in Australia. It is quite easy to get the Aus Sydney forecast first by typing in Sydney into the weather widget and then pressing return. It will then bring up a list of Sydney's all throughout the world in many countries, and you simply have to choose the one which is located in australia.

I have found that the default weather widget source (coming from the USA) is often a couple of degrees higher than any local derived weather prediction service.

I am keen to find a locally made widget so that I can replace the default one.
Hopefully using BOM or similiar source then I can add a few other Australian locations as well that aren't covered in the current one as well.
