Hi,
I just bought a super huge external HDD to improve my backup activities- I'll be using Time Machine as I'm have Leopard, however, I want my partner to be able to backup to the new drive also.
I've never really used Time Machine so (before I spend ages on the initial backup) is there anything I need to do to prepare the drive so that we can have multiple macs backup to it?

Make the Time Machine drive/partition be formatted as Mac OS Extended (Case Sensitive, Journaled) and you can backup any mac to that partition.
