View Full Version : unable to view smh.com.au (any browser)

for some reason i cannot view the smh.com.au gateway. its not specific to firefox or anything because safari cant connect either.

its like it doesnt even "try" to connect - as in, its not the type where the browser hangs trying to load the page - it just gives an instant error the second you click on the link:

"Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.smh.com.au"

any ideas as to why this would be ???

Are you using peer guardian?

^ Yeah. As in, ive used it at some stage, not currently (or when im trying to acess smh) though. Has that changed some settings ?

Try downloading Peer Guardian again and running the uninstall script, then restart your computer.

Super dumb question - but how do you "completely" uninstall mac programs? I thought you just sent them from applications to trash tbh :(

I use safari and the SMH is the default start page....... works every time!? I connect via TPG ADSL 2+
