Hi,
I am new to this site and hopefully someone on here can help me.
I have a first generation iPhone which after accidently updating 2.0 off itunes and stuffing it up completely, I got on MacTalk and worked through one of the threads on re hashing with pawnage and thankfully got it working again.

This is where my problem arises.

One of my speakers isn't working which makes ringtone very hard to hear and my ear speaker on the phone itself is very hard to hear anyone speaking and sounds quite tinny. This has only happened since the new version was installed. I have tried turning it off etc but makes no difference.

I plugged my headset in and both left and right works fine.

Is there any reason for this?

cheers Fly

Turn up the volume.
Restart it.
Insert mic/headset. Yank it out while audio is playing.

Things to try, if you haven't already (you didn't say).
