I love Profcast (http://profcast.com) and have used it many times, so I thought I'd give a little bit of love to MacZOT who have it on sale right now for US$30 (http://maczot.com/) instead of it's usual US$60.

And going one better , for the next 3 days only (to Jan 24th), is ProfCast themselves (http://www.profcast.com/public/index.php) who are offering ProfCast for only USD$15 (click on the "Buy Now!" link) :)

Yet it seems almost invisible in academic circles. Has anyone found a repository of examples which might help convince potential users of its benefits?

Almost every uni in Australia has Lectopia - which is like Profcast, just centralised and managed.

What sort of examples are you after? There's a bunch of peer-reviewed research out there that proves that podcasts enhance student class activity and exam results.
