Hey all knowing and wise MacTalkers ^___^
I have a problem...

Let's say I'm working on my MBP, on battery power and it runs out, I'll quickly plug in some power but then it will take over half an hour before it turns back on. Sometimes 45min to an hour. When I first bought the unit (under a year ago) it would turn back on instantly, as soon as I plugged the power in. Could it be the battery isnt holding as much residual charge as it first did? Anyone experienced similar declining battery strength? All help very much appreciated, thanks :)

This isn't a solution, but you are warned a couple of times (2-3?) before it dies on you. Ample time to save/shut down or find external power. Don't let it run out of power and go into deep sleep if you can help it.

If it is in deep sleep, then it may take some time to save up enough charge to hold some, as well as to power the machine while continually charging it.

I have the same problem with my iphone. When lithium ion batteries are drained, then can take some time to begin charging again.
