I'm considering buying an iPhone and I was going to have my car stereo fitted with a jack so I can plug it in and listen to music when I drive. I had heard that I need to select Flight Mode on the iPhone to be able to plug it in for music though. Is this true? If so, is there any way that I can plug the thing in, listen to music and still receive calls? I tried seaching but didn't come up with anything. Thanks.

Chris.

Forum search is your friend :)

Thanks guys. That's exactly the info I was after.

Mac Ram, thanks for the welcome. I tried search but I think I was too specific with my criteria.

Be careful of buying these cheap generic car charger for iPhone (http://www.iphonewiki.com.au/). Apparently these can brick your iPhone (http://www.iphonewiki.com.au/). Read this (http://www.iphonewiki.com.au/iphone-car-charger/) before buying one.
