Hi all,

Just going through some old computers at a school that they wish to sell. I just want to get an idea of what price we should be looking at, to sell... The computer specs are:

PowerMac 5500 / PowerPC 225Mhz
Mac OS 8.1
Ram: 64MB
HDD: 2GB
Modem and Network Card

It is running pretty clean from what I can see.

I am not sure if the software will be included (So if I can have two prices, one with the software and one without that would be good). The software would be:

PhotoShop 5
MYOB
Office Mac 98
Claris HomePage
Adobe Illustrator
Adboe PageMaker

Cheers,

Are you selling the licenses for those apps with the machine?

Considering you can a beige G3 CPU (usual specs of 64MB/4GB/233 - 266Mhz CPU) for ~$100, and that the 5500 has a monitor built in but with lesser specs, I'd say $90 - 120 would be fair per unit, based on their condition and so on.

With the software + licenses, it's anyone guess - depends on how old the software is I suppose.
